Parent teacher conference week is September 26th - 30th. 1st-5th grades dismiss at 1:20 and all K's attend school from 8:30-11:30 each day. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher or the school office at 9099-981-8697.
Unfortunately, food allergies and childhood diabetes have become a growing concern in schools across our nation. Many children who are healthy in every other way must watch every single bite they eat or what food may be near them, or risk suffering a severe or even life threatening reaction. A major health issue such as this must be taken very seriously as the well-being and the safety of our students is our top priority.
Birthday parties and classroom celebrations are special times for children, but can be difficult ones for the food allergic/diabetic child. Therefore, we are asking that no treats, of any kind, be sent to school for birthdays. And, when/if there is a classroom celebration, your child’s teacher will send a list of specific items that may be donated, if you so choose.
This is a learning process for us all, but we trust you will understand how important it is to consider the potential health risks.
Please contact Ms. Weaver @ 909-981-8697, or at firstname.lastname@example.org, should you have any concerns.
